Nieyan Cheng is a PhD student majored in economics at Iowa State University since August 2017. Her research fields are environmental and agricultural economics. She will help the socio-economics analysis of this project.

Nieyan received her MS in economics from Chinese University of Hong Kong in June 2016, and hold a BA in economics from Sichuan University in China.
